Welcome to the Virginia Association of Regional Jails web site. This organization
consists of nineteen (19) regional jails located throughout the Commonwealth of
Virginia with each of the regional jail superintendents serving as a member of
the Board of directors. We welcome any inquiries into the organization by
contacting any of the regional jail superintendents. Each year the organization
conducts a conference dedicated to specialized training issues regarding
